Pearl Hope - 2024 Youth Entrepreneur of the Year
We are proud to present our 2024 National Youth Entrepreneur of the Year...
Pearl Hope
CEO of Lucky Lemonade Co.
Lomita, CA
Pearl Hope, an 11-year-old entrepreneur from Lomita, California, exemplifies the transformative power of Lemonade Day’s youth entrepreneurship program. As the CEO of Lucky Lemonade Co., Pearl has turned her passion and determination into a thriving business that inspires her community.
Pearl’s journey began with a simple lemonade stand, but she quickly learned that success comes with perseverance and innovation. Using recycled materials and securing donations from local businesses like Lowe’s and Staples, Pearl built her stand and embraced technology to streamline operations. With tools like ChatGPT and Shopify, she designed marketing materials and implemented cashless payment systems. Her creativity didn’t stop there—she expanded her offerings to include baked goods, jewelry, and a skincare line, even hiring her best friend as her first employee.
Over three years, Pearl overcame initial self-doubt and grew her confidence, earning $3,700 in sales in 2024 alone. She repaid her microloan with interest, saved $1,700 for future goals, and donated $300 to Harbor Pregnancy Help Center to support local mothers in need. Pearl plans to reinvest in her business and continue her entrepreneurial journey with an eye on expanding her skincare product line to major retailers like Sephora and Ulta.
“Lemonade Day has taught me how to set goals, run a business, overcome challenges, and give back to my community,” says Pearl. Her story exemplifies the spirit of resilience, innovation, and community impact, showing that young entrepreneurs can achieve remarkable things with the right support and determination. Congratulations to Pearl!
